Vision Team Our Vision Team recognizes the authority of God and realizes that we are lay people and shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ.  We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word.  Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ. Tim Humphreys- Vision Team Chair and Church Moderator  

 

 

 

Finance Team The Finance Team will lead the membership to understand the mission of the church to commit to biblical concepts of stewardship. They will ensure the responsible handling of the gifts of the membership to the cause of Christ, guide the church to know that mission support mean meeting the needs in the community as well as supporting the extended of the church through the Cooperative Program. Facilities Resource Team The Facilities Team main purpose is to sustain the upkeep, presentation, availability and functions of this building for the glory of God.  We are constant look out for the unexpected and expected issues and repairs that may disrupt our function and purpose to worship and spread the word of God in using the resources of this church building.                                Vacant- Facilities Resource Team Chair

 

 

The Mission Action Team  seeks possibilities for local, state and national mission projects.  Then will share the findings with the church mission organizations and serve the church in establishing and conducting mission projects.  The Mission Action Team seeks to raise the awareness of and promote missions buy providing mission organizations for men, women, boys, girls and preschoolers.  This team  also provides missions projects for the church and mission involvement for families and individuals.

The Outreach Team encourages intercessory prayer of the congregation for world evangelization. We also mobilize members evangelism efforts such as visitation, special evangelistic meetings inside and outside of the church and other needed programs to reach people with the gospel

Worship Team The Worship Team plans, promotes and gives guidance for the worship events of the church.      We operate and maintain the sanctuary sound system and plan, promote, enlist and administer the church music program. Robbie Ayscue- Worship Team Chair

 

 

Discipleship Team The Discipleship Team plans, promotes and executes programs which will lead persons to a mature understanding of the Christian Faith including the Bible and Christian theology, Baptist polity, Christian history and ethics.  We strive to establish programs that will reach, teach, witness and minister to all ages.

Deacons The guiding image for a deacon at Hilton Baptist Church shall be that of a servant.  The role of a deacon shall be to nurture and build up the fellowship of Christians.  The Deacons are to help the church body grow in the ability to relate in a “Christ-like” fashion to one another and to relate to the obedience of God. People Support Team The People Support Team surveys the need for additional church staff positions.  This team will develop job descriptions and personnel policies.  When needed, this team will recommend to the church potential staff members for approval and recommend salaries and benefits for employed personnel.
